ISUMC: The Information Systems
Undergraduate Model Curriculum Project

You may know us as IS90, IS95, IS97, IS2002, IS2009, or IS2010. Our new name is ISUMC, the Information Systems Undergraduate Model Curriculum project.

The Information Systems Undergraduate Model Curriculum project is chaired by Dr. Herbert E. "Bart" Longenecker, Jr. of the School of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of South Alabama.

The Executive Director of the ISUMC project is Dr. Steve Reames of the Department of Management and Marketing at Angelo State University.

The Information Systems Analyst (ISA) program is jointly administered by the ICCP and the Center for Computing Education Research (CCER) - a division of the ICCP Education Foundation. The ISA measures the educational outcomes of the IS2002 curriculum.

ISUMC is currently involved in an update to the IS 2002 model curriculum, and part of a long heritage of Information Systems model curricula stretching back to 1980.

This document summarizes the ISUMC's IS2002 Body of Knowledge (16 pages, PDF).
